CnC - A Chip and a Chair is All You Need

Welcome

A few years ago I gathered information on tournaments and promotions that I shared for the asking. I decided to post my findings for easy access but it was hard to find a reliable server ... it forced me to relocate to a different server and a chance to grab another domain.

This site was created for my personal use and it is work in progress. If you see anything that you would like to comment on please feel free to drop me a line.

Thanks for stopping by ... and best of luck.

Heads Up Play

Another experiment - to see what my win ratio would be if I played 10 + straight heads up matches. I played in 27 Heads Up matches and lost 7 of them. My game of choice was Omaha ... I feel I have a slight edge in Omaha over most online players. Buy ins were around $11 but some were higher ($23, $34, and $57). I stayed with Pot Limit because it gives me more control over the size of the pot and the pot odds for draws.

Results of this experiment located in this blog entry.

If anyone else tries this I would love to hear your results.

Building a Bankroll

My experiment was to turn $20 bucks into a healthly gaming bankroll. I started with low limit play and worked my way up. Results and methods are located in the blog links below ... Bankroll Management: Part I | Part II | Part III

In a nut shell: I stayed with Pot Limit to control the size of thew pot and played Omaha because I felt I had a slight advantage over the everyday Joe (or Jane).

Final results after 3 days:
- 80% of my games were Heads Up matches in Omaha H/L PL
- Made withdraws totaling $628 off the $20 starting bankroll
- High water mark was $750
- Lost the last $100 plus in three SnGs ($22, $33, $50) ... I was outplayed once, lost holding a boat in another, and lost the last $50 on a suck out.

If anyone else tries this I would love to hear your results.
